FILTRATION SYSTEM
Generally, problems of a RO system can be divided into 3 categories: pressure, flow and salt rejection. The following lists of questions help to identify possible causes for these problems.
Multi-Media Sand Filter

Activated Carbon Filter
| Function | : | Remove of contaminants in water such as chlorine, solvents, pesticides, odors, dissolved and suspended organics. Surface of activated carbon granules are highly porous, when raw water are flow through, contaminants are absorb or stick to the surface of activated carbon. |

Water Softener
| Function | : | Remove hardness ions in raw water as to prevent scale formation. The most common of these ions include calcium (Ca²+), magnesium (Mg2+) dissolved iron (Fe2+) and manganese (Mn2+). Water softener using ion-exchange resin media that has functional groupswith strongly negative charge characteristics, thus gives the resin the ability to attract various positively charged hardness ions. |

Iron Removal Filter
| Function | : | Remove iron in raw water. Iron in ferrous state (Fe2+) is soluble, if it is oxidized to its ferric state (Fe3+), it is insoluble and can foul RO membrane. Beside that, high iron concentration in raw water can rust pump, piping and other iron components. |

Bag Filter

Cartridge Filter
| Function | : | Remove mud, silt, suspended solid and fine particle size up to 0.1µm. An ideal pre-filter for RO system. |

| Backwash modes | : | Replaceable. Micron size range from 50µm to 0.1µm. |
